At a glance
Vinabox is an independent wine publication created by Jeremy Degryse and published by HONOM SASU in France. It does not sell wine.
A French starting point, a British edition
Jeremy lives in Grenoble and has been learning about wine since around 2014. He is self-taught and does not claim WSET or DUAD qualifications. The original Vinabox website and his YouTube videos are in French.
His coverage includes visits to French wine regions and hands-on use of some wine accessories. Those experiences belong to the place and circumstances in which they happened. A French tasting is not presented as a visit to a British estate, and an older French product bundle is not evidence of what a UK retailer includes today.
What changes for UK readers
This edition uses British wine vocabulary, GBP prices, millilitres, centilitres and Celsius. It covers English and Welsh wine alongside French regions, and considers the choices a reader faces in a British wine merchant: a single bottle or case, a duty-paid price or an in-bond quotation, and the delivery terms for their postcode.
Bacchus and Seyval Blanc are included because they are grown locally. Calling them locally grown does not mean they originated in Britain. That distinction matters when telling the story of English and Welsh wine.
Experience, research and recommendations
A first-hand review identifies what Jeremy actually tested. A guide based on specifications says so and does not invent tasting notes, laboratory results or long-term use. Food pairings are editorial suggestions, not a promise that everyone will prefer the same combination.
Prices and availability are time-sensitive. Product comparisons give a check date and link to their sources, so readers can see the exact model and offer being discussed.
How Vinabox is funded
Vinabox’s wider business uses affiliate marketing. This edition carries no affiliate links. Ordinary UK merchant links on this site do not earn Vinabox commission. Any future affiliate content must identify its advertising nature clearly, and commercial arrangements must not be presented as proof of product quality.
